How to become a chef!
Chefs are professional cooks who may work in a restaurant, hotel, institutional food service or other professional kitchen. Becoming a chef is not an easy task. Usually chefs work long hourse and work really hard. There are different types of chefs specialzed in making different style of dishes. Professional chefs are widely respected and are paid high usually across the globe.
To become a chef you should have certainly qualities. The easiest way to become a chef is by attending a culinary school and/or working as an apprentice for a chef in a restaurant. Chefs often work at several restaurants getting experience under different mentors before they choose a specialty. The starting point would be to become a cook. If worked hard it is quiet possible to reach management chefs level within years. But, of course dedication, and interest in work is essential to achieve the goal.
Chefs and dinner cooks prepare, season, and cook food. Chefs spend time on their feet, cooking, chopping, and stirring. They need to be able to lift heavy pots and boxes of food. As I have noted before different level of chefs have different responsibilities. Management Chefs often have delusions about their creative abilities and have to be taught to recognize their limitations.
