How to select a Wrestling shoes - tips

Wrestling is widely regarded as the worlds oldest sport. Evidence of wrestling can be traced all the way back to ancient Egyptian times. The first thing you should do is measure your foot to determine your normal shoe size. A typical pair of wrestling shoes will generally run one half to one full size larger than your normal shoes.

Wrestling shoes active wear used in competition and practice for the sport of wrestling. Generally extremely light and flexible, they try to mimic the bare foot with slightly more traction and ankle support and less chance of contracting a disease or hurting some one with your toe nails. Wrestling shoes are often used for street racing as well.

Your wrestling shoes must have a nice snug fit to them. Make sure that you have selected a pair, which features a strong sole and high ankle support.  As the shoes are designed to be almost like bare feet, a snug fit is important. You should almost be able to forget that you're even wearing shoes once you have them on. Keep trying pairs on until you find that perfect fit! When you're shopping for shoes, make sure you walk around in them to test how they'll feel in action. You won't be sitting down during a wrestling match, so there's no point in sitting down while you're trying on your shoes, either!
