ATV riding is an activity the whole family can enjoy.  It is very important to wear proper safety gear and protective clothing when riding. It is a risky sport but of course very enjoyable.

If you are new to the sport I would suggest start doing some online reserches about atv specs and atv reviews. Many atvs are proven in a variety of tough environments from traditional farming to construction. Here are some of the points you should be careful when riding ATV.

* learn all the mechanical controls and safety devices of my ATV by reading the owner's manual
* wear a helmet at all times and other protective clothing suitable to the environment when RIDING
* ask an instructor or qualified rider to teach you proper riding skills
* do not carry passengers with you
* do not use alcohol or other drugs when riding
* Inspect your OHV before riding 

This sport is particular popular in the United States, Europe and in some Asia Coutries including China and Japan.
